New York: September 12th, 1911. 1 p. on The Outlook stationary. Addressed to General S. C. Mills: "My dear General: Nothing pleases me more than to have you address me as you did. It is the address I prefer anyhow, and especially from the men with whom I feel it such a high honor to have served even for a short time. Will you come in next Friday at about eleven o'clock? Sincerely yours, Theodore Roosevelt." With one-inch closed tear to right margin at center fold, not affecting text.
