Framed personal correspondence signed by Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919). Letterhead reads The Kansas City Star, Office of Theodore Roosevelt, New York Office 347 Madison Avenue. Typed letter hand signed in ink to lower right. Dated May 15, 1918. Letter addressed to Mr. Frederick R. Blount. Some creasing to paper observed. Not examined out of frame. Professionally framed in wood frame under mat and Tru-Vue Museum Glass. Measures approx. 11 3/8 x 12 7/8 inches, window approx. 9 3/4 x 11 3/8 inches. Theodore Roosevelt Jr., often referred to as Teddy or by his initials, T. R., was an American politician, statesman, soldier, conservationist, naturalist, historian, and writer who served as the 26th president of the United States from 1901 to 1909.
