Description
Dimensions: Height: 9.25 inch x Width/Diameter: 2.95 inch x Length/Depth: 2.95 inch. Dimensions in Centimeter: 23.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm. This pair of bottles has a unique shape, with an oval jar shape and a very slender neck. The bottleneck is painted with blue, yellow, and red paints, three different patterns are painted. The first circle is a continuous curly ganoderma pattern, the second circle is a stylized leaf pattern, and the third circle is a Chinese auspicious totem pattern. The entire vase is painted with entwined lotus and blade of grass patterns, the central decorated with two five-clawed dragons striding among flames in pursuit of a "flaming pearl". The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double rectangular frames, Made In The Years of Chenghua Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty(1465-1487). Doucai, It is a colored porcelain decoration process combining underglaze blue and white and over-glaze decoration. Created in the Ming Dynasty Xuande years(1426-1435), the Dou Cai during the Ming dynasties Chenghua(1465-1487) was most admired, Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty reached its peak(1661-1799).
