Abraham Cowley was one of the leading English poets during the 17th-century. This 1689 first edition of the third part of Cowley’s works features his famous ‘Six Books of Plants’. This set of poems is famous for having the earliest reference to coca in the English language in the poem ‘A Legend of Coca’.
