Description
Stuka multiple signed WW2 Robert Taylor print. 34 x 24 inches. Numbered 146/1250. The Stuka when dressed for war was an awesome spectacle. Robert Taylor's outstanding painting show's a formation of JU87s bombed up and fitted with long range tanks heading out on a shipping strike over the Mediterranean in 1941. Following its success in the Polish and French 'Blitzkrieg' campaigns, the Stuka was seen by the German High Command as the supreme new weapon to succeed long range artillery. With its banshee like wailing siren the Stuka pilots would deliver destruction from the skies and create a devastating psychological effect upon all those below. The print individually signed by the artist and FOUR Stuka pilots. Oberleutnant HELMUT FICKEL KC, Major FRANZ KIESLICH KW WITH OAK LEAVES, Oberst KURT KUHLMEY, Oberstleutenant HANS KARL STEPP. Condition report few fox marks to image and border, tiny crease to LH yellow border. Good Condition. All autographs are genuine hand signed and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. We combine postage on multiple winning lots and can ship worldwide. UK postage from £4.99, EU from £6.99, Rest of World from £8.99.
