ROBERT STANDFORD-TUCK AND J. E. "JOHNNIE" JOHNSON
Pair of two signed art prints of works by Robert Taylor, each 24" x 20", includes ROBERT STANDFORD-TUCK (1916-1987) British fighter pilot and commander of a Hawker Hurricane squadron. He had 29 solo kills at the time of his capture in January, 1942, signed art print "Victory over Dunkirk", shows a Spitfire banking in the midst of a dogfight over the French coast, signed in pencil at bottom, with the second print: "Johnnie Johnson Leading 144 Canadian Wing Over the Normandy Beaches, 6th June 1944", signed in pencil by Johnson at bottom, very lightly foxed at margins. Also included is an unrelated 22" x 29 1/2" color print: "The Tin Goose", by Laura Huff, 1987, #7/200, a delightful image of the Ford Tri-Motor. Three pieces.
