vintage enamel obsolete retired Chicago Police Lodge 7 badgeGold plated and enamel 5 point star badge in pristine conditon. Measures approx 2 7/8" in diameter. The front reads, "RETIRED, CHICAGO POLICE LODGE NO. 7" and has an enamel star in the center FOP. The back has a piece of paper through the pin which states, "CAUTION IN CLEANING Gold plated or gold filled badges, use only soap and water. Do not use abrasive polishing compound.." It is engraved on the back with the officer's name and his years of service from 1954 to 1986. At the bottom right is says, "The C.H.
