Chinese Export Silver Urn Body, late 19th/early 20th century, unmarked, lacking base/foot, ovoid, chased and embossed with dense scene of a battle before a settlement, with two dragon-form handles, the slightly domed lid with scrolling acanthus and flower border, and finial formed as a coiled dragon amidst clouds, wd. to handles 14 3/4, ht. 8 3/4 in., approx. 43 troy oz.

Condition: lacking base and/or foot/feet, with underside of body showing three round filed-down marks where the base/feet would have attached. lacquered.
lid with tears to metal around dragon, with a few spots of solder.
