Description: The Treaty of Trianon and European Peace: four lectures delivered in London in November, 1933, By Cout Stephen Bethlen, former Prime Minister of Hungary, preface by the Rt. Hon. Lord Newton. Published by Longmans, Green and Co., 1934. The Treaty was the peace agreement of 1920 that formally ended World War I between most of the Allies of World War I and the Kingdom of Hungary. The treaty regulated the status of an independent Hungarian state and defined its borders and left Hungary as a landlocked state. As a result of the Treaty, Hungary lost the 2/3 of its territory and people. Handsome dark brown boards with gilt spine, little fading. Very firm binding. Material: paper.
