third quarter 19th century, in the "Henry Clay" pattern, each with a thinly laminated concave back with a deeply carved leaf-and-fruit crest centered by a rose, with serpentine seat and cabriole legs, now upholstered in tufted floral brocade.

Condition
In very good refinished and restored condition.
Tight and sturdy. Some normal flakes and abrasions to the edges of carved surfaces. No tack holes on
one chair; five small, minor ones on the back of the other.
Upholstery in very good, approaching excellent, condition.
