Weaving comb signed "Hanna Hale," southern yellow pine.
From the Collector's Notes: It is possible that this name refers to Hanna Hale/Haujo (1795-1818), was abducted/rescued by a group of Creek Native Americans at age 11 or 12 in 1777 at Rodger's Fort, Georgia, during the American Revolution. Her biography states that "this woman spins and weaves."
Dimensions: Height (w/out stand): 14 in x width: 4 in.
