Description
A beautifully made 4-5/8 in long Pre-Columbian comb made from split reed, most likely Carrizo, with sharpened points on both sides. This rare textile weaving tool is bound with the brown and tan braided thread typical of Chancay textile manufacture. Choice example. Ex Gallatin estate.
