Native American Tomahawk, Northeast, with what is probably a French hand forged iron head, marked with an 'X', apparent folds of metal in the forging, having a later but still 19th c. worn tiger maple handle. 10 1/4" long, 3 5/8" wide. Good condition, nice patina. Provenance: From the estate of Paul Brouillard, Castine, ME.
