George Walton (1749-1804), a signer of the Declaration of Independence, signs a summons ordering the defendant in the case of Basdale vs Strosier-Trovett to appear at Washington, Georgia. Docketed on the verso. Condition: Some toning along the edges with old smoothed fold creases, silked on the verso to reinforce separations at the folds, good condition.
