A Queen Anne Maple Highboy
New England, Circa 1760
Height 72 x width 39 x depth 20 inches.
Susan Henoch Quinn, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was raised in a family of collectors. Her parents, Willard and Faith Henoch, were benefactors of numerous Milwaukee arts institutions. Her sister and brother-in-law, Anne H. and Frederick Vogel III, are also well-known collectors of early Colonial Americana.

Purchased from the above circa 1956

Condition

Old scuffs, marks and scratching throughout consistent with age and use. Age splits to sides of case. Hardware replaced. Crack to top of front leg. Back board of lower element likely replaced.Â Additional images available upon request.
