Description

Vellum glaze snow scenic plaque painted by Sally Coyne in 1918 entitled Winter Sunset revealing a serene shoreline thickly covered in snow and a grove of slender trees silhouetted against a pink sky. Ms. Coyne's monogram is on the lower left corner. Measures 5 inches by 8 inches. Impressed with the Rookwood logo and date. Dark all over crazing. The original wood frame has a paper sticker with the plaques title and artist's name. Colorful scene.
