Chinese Ming reversed blue and white glaze porcelain high bowl. Deep porcelain bowl, with rounded cavetto rising to form the steep curvature, raised on a splayed countersunk tall foot base. Depiction of thrashing long five-claws dragon amongst dense Li-Shui waves. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. Evenly coated in a rich blue glaze. The drawing are subtle, the immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze. Mark on central interior, a vertical six underglaze blue script -KaiShu- characters mark, enclosed within a double fine rings, Xuande Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
