Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi porcelain brush washer. Deep curvature, of a deep vessel, round straight upward to form the small opening rim, with round flat foot base rim. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in famille verte underglaze base color which contrast against the brown-black fine color. Meticulous finish sgraffito scrolling ruyi and vapor carving beneath the attractive pale green monochrome glazed covers the delicate clay, showing silky smooth sheen and conforming the dragon design. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on under base, a horizontal six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Kangxi Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
