Chinese porcelain potted in a gourd shaped body, with bulbous belly gently tapered to the domed shoulder everted toward flat opening. The exterior delicately decorated with carmine-red underglaze scrolling foliate over clean white ground. A fine gilt over glaze ring banded on the rim.

Mark on base, four underglazed red script -KaiShu- characters.
