Superb, Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Reign Period, Pair of Yongzheng gilt deer bowls. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a shallow vessel, broad wide cavetto, with a straight opening lip, raised on a small round slightly raised footing. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the Wucai design color. Wucai or five-color shades and tones, brightly painted in Wucai design, Opaque colors around the exterior, between the filling motif decorated in colorful motif. The exterior adorned with vivid tones color of playing gilt deer on the field amidst sturdy tree with various flowers blooms and fresh green foliage. A deer Lu, resembles longevity as it is the friend of Shoulao-the god of longevity according to Daoist belief. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the carving, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.

Mark on under base, a horizontal six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings, Yongzheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
