The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form large plum bottle, with a narrow base straight toward flaring to wide bulbous, thick potted and tall body, slender neck easing to form a petite opening. raised with flaring wide concave foot base rim. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in pale white underglaze base color which contrast against the rose pink fine color. The Exterior adorned with five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames and vapors, with face and upper right appendage outstretched toward the heavens. Vigorous dragons chasing flaming pearl amidst flames against rose pink scrolling clouds diaper. The backdrop depicts swirling wind and fire painted atop a beautiful white underglaze. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-Shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons. Repeating taotie mask and interlocking key fret decorated on the upper neck, enclosed with thick single gilt ring line. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
