Duke of Leinster - A George III - Victorian Irish and English sterling silver table service of flatware / canteen, the earliest London 1774 with apparently no maker's mark
Of King's Hourglass pattern, double struck with union shell heel. The reverse engraved with a crest of a monkey statant, environed about the middle with a plain collar and chained, surmounted by a Duke's coronet. Comprising:
16 table forks
8 table spoons (London 1774)
8 dessert forks (Dublin 1828 by Patrick Moore retailed by Matthew West)
8 dessert spoons (Seven Dublin 1828 by Patrick Moore retailed by Matthew West, one London 1840 by William Eaton)
6 teaspoons
3 egg spoons (Dublin 1828 by Patrick Moore retailed by Matthew West)
