Antique folk art street sign for Carter's Ink. Likely from a stationary store. Oval shape measures 8 3/8" x 24 1/4". Quality pure gold leaf with black glitter sand edge. Black lettering is age crackled and sun faded. Style of lettering font resembles the Carter's name seen on 1920s era ink bottles. Sign may be older, but bottles from the 19th century have Carter's name in all capital letters. Very fine condition and unique. Buyer pays $18.00 mail .
