John Dillinger U.S. Department of Justice Wanted Poster W/Evidence Bag & LOA - This is a wanted poster for infamous criminal John Dillinger issued by the Division of Investigation of the U.S. Department of Justice. The poster will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the original owner, who was a Deputy Sherriff in Morgan County, Colorado and came across the poster while removing old case files stored in the basement of the jail. When he came across the piece, he asked the Sherriff if he could keep it, as years prior his father had a run in with Dillinger outside of a bank where he was selling newspapers. The poster is printed on the outside with "Division of Investigation U.S. Department of Justice Official Business," and is addressed to "Sherriff, Fort Morgan, Colorado." The wanted poster will also be accompanied by a Sequim Police Department evidence bag. Measurements: 8" x 8".
