Six-page manuscript document, on sello quarto (2 conjugate sheets, 1 single sheet), with rubberstamps dated 1670. 30.5x21.2 cm (12x8").

Document relative to the case of a widow whose cattle lands were invaded by unscrupulous individuals who saw an opportunity in the defenseless situation of the woman. The document is composed by a sheet of a royal order of the King of Spain Carlos II, that takes the side of the woman and asks his prosecutor to take action. This document, as is the case with all the Ejecutorias (official Royal Documents), is signed by the Viceroy, as well as by a half dozen or so other officials and dignitaries (we have not been able to differentiate the Viceroy's signature). The second part is the initial complaint of the woman. It develops the case, looking for witnesses and papers.

Condition
Some normal wear, a paper seal has come detached but is present, very good.
