Report on title to tide lands, by a committee from the Settlers' Protective Union, appointed March 14th, 1868. Copies of which were ordered to be sent to the governor and members of the legislature. 7 pp. 19.7x13.5 cm (7¾x5¼"), unbound. (Title page used for penmanship practice with a number of letters lightly penciled in blank spaces.) [San Francisco]: 1868.

Ongoing inquiries and legislation regarding San Francisco coastal properties wrested from the Bay and sold to the highest bidders. The first had a single example located by OCLC, at the University of California Berkeley; the second has two copies, adding the San Francisco Historical Society.
