A hollow ceramic vessel with domed top and conical base, intended to be filled with explosive liquid and wick, used as a hand grenade; two bands of incised teardrop decoration to the body; short neck with domed top. 705 grams, 13.5cm (5 1/4"). From an important English collection; acquired in the 1990s.
