Description
MONTBLANC “Alexander Dumas” limited edition 13118/20000. Germany, 1996. Fountain pen. Alexandre Dumas, called father to distinguish him from his son, also a writer of the same name, was in his youth a notary and then the secretary of the Duke of Orleans, becoming one of the most prolific writers of his time despite living carelessly, which finally led him to die practically in bankruptcy in December 1870.
The “Alexandre Dumas” limited edition was presented in 1996, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the first edition of two of his most memorable novels: The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo.
The cap has a band in golden silver and a sword-shaped clip, in clear allusion to these two works. The barrel is made in marbled nacreous resin and it is decorated with fine vertical bands in golden silver. Nib in 18K gold with engraved fleur-de-lis. Correct signature. With piston converter system. In perfect condition. With box and documentation.
