Ancient Near East, Holyland, Iron Age II, ca. 8th to 5th century BCE. A set of five wheel-thrown terracotta vessels from the Iron-Age Holy Land. First is a small cup with a flat base, smooth walls, and a thin rim. Second is a squat bottle with a slightly-slanted base, bulbous body, a tall neck, and a thin rim. Third is a twin-handled bowl with a minute ringed base and a shallow interior cavity. Fourth is a petite jarlet with a footed base, wide body and mouth, and a flared rim. Last is a large jar with a flat base, apple-shaped body, and a rolled and flared rim. A lovely ensemble of Near-Eastern pottery! Size of largest (large jar): 3.25" H (8.3 cm).
