A large Egyptian beaded necklace with lotus shaped clasps, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, the ancient beads in shades of blue and green to brown and of the tubular variety interspersed with round types. They are beautifully strung on antique cord with a modern clasp in the form of a lotus blossoms. L: 42 in (106.4 cm). An attractive ready to wear necklace! Ex Southern California private collection.
