Ancient Egypt, Luxor, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1543 to 1292 BCE. A beautiful duo of necklaces crafted from hundreds of hand-carved stone seed beads in hues of umber, beige, sage, periwinkle, coral, maroon, caramel, and espresso. One necklace is comprised of beads in red, purple, and beige colors. The second, double-stranded necklace is composed of more earthtone colors, with the knotted ends of each conjoined along the top. Certainly wearable and unquestionably stylish, these necklaces would present a wondrous display of ancient coloration when worn in tandem. Size of each necklace: 12.5" L (31.8 cm).
