Two Pairs of Chinese Export Rose Medallion Porcelain Vases
third quarter 19th century, the larger vases decorated with panels of figures in a court setting with a gilt fret surround, h. 12", dia. 5-1/2", and the smaller urn-form vases with covers with foo dog knops and foo dog head handles, h. 11", w. 4".
Provenance: Estate of Margaret "Pat" Breen, Houston, Texas.

Condition
On one of the larger vases there is a chip and a well done repair to the rim; on the other one there is a
small repair. On the smaller covered vases, there is notable wear to the gilding on the foo dog knops and
handles. All four vases have some minor rubbing to pigment/glaze. In overalll good estate condition.
