Description
The Soft Self-Portrait with Fried Bacon (1941) by Salvador Dali is the sculpture adaptation of a painting of the same name. Famed surrealist artist created this piece during his eight year exile in the United States, after fleeing from the Spanish civil war. As an anti-psychological portrait Dali aimed to depict solely the outwardly appearance, his "soul's glove" as he calls it. This sculpture was crafted using the lost wax method. It rests on a thick black marble base. It is signed Salvador Dali. Condition: This sculpture is in perfect condition.
