“The aim of the Map Collectors’ Circle is to stimulate interest in and publish material on early printed maps, atlases, cartographers, etc.. The emphasis is on material of practical importance designed to assist Collectors, Librarians and Booksellers. The Map Collectors’ Series is international in scope and character.

Letters containing information, ideas, criticism or queries will be welcomed and answered directly by the Editor-in- Chief, Mr. R. V. Many of the publications in the Series break new ground, and it is hoped that Members will not hesitate to write correcting or amplifying any of the material contained in the pamphlets.
