Prince's Jam of the Year Tour Custom Black & Aqua Striped Love Symbol Shoes by Andre No. 1 & Purple Dress Socks Acquired From 1st Wife Mayte Garcia W/LOA & Book Signed by Mayte - These shoes were custom designed for Prince for his 1997-1998 Jam of the Year and New Power Soul tours. The heeled booties were made by the designer Andre No. 1, and are black with vertical aqua glitter stripes. The shoes also have gold zippers with a gold Love symbol attached to each, and are truly the epitome of Prince's iconic style. According to the letter of authenticity, Prince wore the shoes numerous times for performances during his Jam of the Year World Tour with appearances across the U.S. and Europe. The shoes have metal plates underneath the heels, as Prince's stage antics often caused the heels to break, requiring constant repair. They will also be accompanied by a pair of Prince's purple dress socks. The shoes were acquired from Prince's first wife Mayte Garcia, and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from The Collection: Prince Archives signed by Mayte. The pair will also come with a signed copy of Garcia's book, "The Most Beautiful. My Life With Prince."
