Description
An interesting Egyptian faience green-glazed ushabti, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075 - 664 BC, mummiform, with short wig, arms folded across chest, hands holding a pick and hoe. The face is very well detailed, and the entire piece is of a very unusual style. H: 4 in (10.3 cm). Ex Royal Athena Galleries, New York.
