The Marley design from Yale, c. 1890, is one of the most dramatic and graphic of in all of American hardware. Not only are these door handles extra large, measuring 20.25” x 3”, but they are cast with raging ocean waves and two wide-eyed sea creatures whose bodies and tails form the handles and thum latches. Finding one of these handles is life achievement. Find a pair almost never happens. Note that the right hand handle has an old repair that is almost invisible from the front. Other than that both handles are in excellent condition, with fine old color and minor wear. Guaranteed that no one else on your block will have anything close.
