Framed series of four Edwardian era postcards by Pearle Eugenia Fidler LeMunyan, the set entitled "A Case of Courting", showing stages in the process entitled "Stating His Case" (girl reading a letter, the accompanying roses on her lap,) "Considering the Evidence", (girl looking thoughtfully at his photograph,) "The Sealed Verdict", (girl posting a letter,) and, finally, "Sentenced with Life", (the girl as bride.) Each postcard marked "(copyright) Edward Gross Co., N.Y., Painted by Pearle Fidler LeMunyan". In period (probably original) oak frame. Frame, approx. 19" x 9".
