This lot consists of a hand painted mixed media (graphite and colored pencil) illustration on paper, hand signed "Andy Warhol". A masterful rendering of a larger-than-life glass bottle of 7 Up, its red emblem blazing into the eye of the viewer. Done in the modern Pop art style of Andy Warhol (American, 1923-1987). Unframed piece measures approximately 14" x 17".

Andy Warhol was a prominent American artist, producer, and filmmaker. He is regarded as one of the leaders of the Pop Art movement, and was a great social documenter of his day. His bold, colorful images not only reflect the splashy attitude of mid-century American visual culture, but the many faces and experiences recognized by members of Warhol's generation.
