Antique canteen, made of thick, hand hammered copper. Rounded Cross Pattee Alisee symbol (also known as an Iron Cross, after the Prussian military decoration which it inspired). Iron chain. Original cork stopper. Antique, 19th century. Possibly from the 1871 Franco-Prussian War. Measurements: Approx. 10" diameter with spout, 8.75" diameter, 3" thick. Chain is about 30"-32" long.
