Latin America, Mexico, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A pretty tin shadow-box style nicho made to hold a retablo. Decorative stamped tin rises from the top in a dramatic arch and from the sides in wing-like finials. These are painted a deep turquoise. Size: 1.75" L x 15" W x 18.8" H (4.4 cm x 38.1 cm x 47.8 cm)

Nice patina on surface. Pigment is in nice condition. Small blotch of another color of paint on the top of the arch.
