BRITISH SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) PORTRAIT OF A WOMAN, a mixed-media composition employing printed elements and textile appliques on paper, depicting an elegant lady at her needlework, ink inscription at lower edge "Miss Love as Vespina in Clarrissa". Housed under glass in a 19th-century figured maple frame. Circa 1820. 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" sight.
Good overall visual condition with moderate toning and minor discoloration. Frame with minor wear. Not examined out of frame.
