including two with mortarboards, the first holding one, the second wearing one, frame backing of first with "Wright Howes, Chicago, IL" label; and a gentleman with a book identified as "John Cockburn, Esq. (1784-1862), of Doune Terrace, Edinburgh", the first two signed and dated 1828, the third with the sitter's name and locale inscribed in a "keyhole" cut en verso.
sights 10-1/2" x 6-1/2", 10-1/2" x 5-1/2" and 10-1/2" x 6-7/8, respectively.
Each glazed and framed.
