Large and elaborate silver wedding wager cup, 19th c., Germany, cast and repousse decorated sterling, representing a king carrying a seashell cup overhead, the shell swivels making for a drinking game, the bottom rim monogrammed and engraved "Here gentlemen come/Try your skill", Hanau pseudo marks and British import marks of TG for the firm of Thomas Gibbard with date stamp of 1891 on both the base and the cup, 17"h x 7"dia, approx. 34ozt
