Description
Pre-Columbian Quimbaya culture (Colombia, 100 BC - 700 CE). Standing abstract slab pottery anthropomorphic figure with a hammerhead, slit eyes and mouth, pierced nose. Male figure with genitals, stands on flat feet. Small hands molded into the torso, dark red slip body, holes under the arms. Loose material inside rattles. Measures 9.5 x 6.25 inches.
Condition
Very good condition, no evidence of cracks or restoration.
