After Daniel Frost Pennsylvania Shelf Clock. 9.5 in. painted metal dial inscribed "Daniel Frost, Reading" has black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers, pierced black hands with moon phase arch, gilt corner spandrels and arched calendar aperture dial; brass 8 day double fusee spring driven movement has an hour strike on a bell on the top of the movement. In an unusual Pennsylvania Chippendale style case with arched pediment crest, turned flame finials, fluted quarter corner columns and excellent carved base having cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. c. Late 19th century, very good overall condition, original finish, running and striking; replaced pendulum, has key.
