Description

Rookwood Black Opal vase with day lily decoration, most likely done by Sara Sax in the mid 1920's. Neatly drilled through the bottom which has removed the date code, shape number and artist's signature. The style is typical of Sax and the shape is one of her favorites. Height 13 1/4 inches. Scattered crazing, a minor scratch or two and drilled through the bottom.
