An elaborate head with a big body and mirror glass eyes. In African art is Nkisi the epitome of witchcraft. Aggressive witchcraft Kindoki is the absolute evil that must be eradicated. To this end, Nkissi be manufactured as protective figures. Nkisi's cure not only but also protect or promote the hunting or fishing. It can also be used as a weapon and have a negative effect on the people involved. By exploring a nail picture was activated. Provenance: old Dutch private collection, collected in the field in the 1960's by a Dutch Vicar.
