Latin America, Mexico, ca. 19th century CE. An antique, hand-carved and hand-painted wooden santo figure, depicting a Christian bishop saint, given his garments and the long 'beaded' rosary with silver painted cross. Interestingly, this santo was singed by candles during prayer. Size: 10.5" H (26.7 cm)
