Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan/Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2700 to 2000 BCE. An interestingly-shaped ceramic vessel with banded black lines painted around the middle of its body and on its rim. The vessel stands on a tiny, round foot and widens out into a steep-sided, tapered body with a slightly flared, unpronounced rim. Size: 3.6" W x 4.5" H (9.1 cm x 11.4 cm)
